To qualify you must: • Open, and be approved for, a new U.S. Bank Payment Solutions Merchant Account (MID) by December 31, 2025. • Account must be open and actively accepting and settling payments at the time the monthly statement credits are being calculated and applied in order to receive the rebate. Merchant account must be in good standing with no outstanding recovery balance. The monthly statement credit will appear in the Fees/Charges Category of the merchant statement in the fourth month following account opening, not to exceed the $1,000 credit maximum. The promotional credit is based on total account fees and charges billed during the initial three (3) months following new account opening, excluding equipment, chargebacks, and adjustments for each respective month. For example, a new merchant account opened and approved on July 14, 2025, will immediately begin qualifying for credits on eligible monthly account fees and charges billed. The cumulative credit for the three (3) months following approval will appear on the November 2025 merchant statement. In addition to the $1,000 cap, the statement credit amount cannot exceed total eligible monthly fees and charges actually billed and collected. Such statement credit may be adjusted to solely offset the eligible monthly account statement fees and charges billed and collected. U.S. Bank offers various plans as part of its merchant services. While some of the plans are basic and ideal for small businesses, others are full-service offerings with additional features that help businesses offer more payment-related capabilities to their customers.
Here are the plans:
- talech Mobile: This basic mobile solution, powered by talech system, allows merchants to accept payments through their smartphones. Only payment processing fee applies. This makes it well-suited for small, mobile businesses such as food trucks and at-home pet groomers.
- talech Terminal: This entry-level solution starts at $15 per month + payment processing fees. It comes with a handheld terminal for accepting card and contactless payments. This one is also good for small businesses.
- Starter: This is an entry-level full service plan that starts at $29 per month + payment processing fees. The subscription fee doesn’t include the hardware cost. Business owners can choose the hardware and software that best works for them.
- Standard: The Standard full service plan starts at $69 per month + payment processing fees. There’s a $29 fee for each additional software license and a one-time set up fee of $99.
- Premium: The Premium plan starts at $99 monthly and a $99 one-time set up fee. Payment processing fee is separate. This plan includes additional perks like online ordering, loyalty program, and appointment booking.
Additionally, here are the processing fees for each payment type offered:
- Swipe, Tap, Insert (Card) – 2.6% + 10¢
- Manual – 3.5% + 15¢
- Online – 2.9% + 30¢
