Plans & Pricing

Due to its commitment to offering personalized plans, Payarc does not disclose its plans or pricing online. While that may be true, it also makes it hard to know in advance what your plan will include and how much it will cost.

Payarc offers three very competitively priced plan types: interchange-plus, flat rate, and cash discount.

Interchange-Plus Plan

Your monthly sales volume determines the price of a PAYARC Interchange-Plus plan.

The plans are as follows:

  • $0-$25,000: $69.00/month and 0% + 15¢ (in-person & online) per transaction.
  • $25,000-$50,000: $129/month and 0% + 10¢ (in-person & online) per transaction.
  • $50,000-$75,000: $199/month and 0% + 8¢ (in-person & online) per transaction
  • $100,000+: $250/month and 0% + 5¢ (in-person & online) per transaction

For businesses processing less than $25,000 per month, PAYARC’s pricing is very competitive compared to other processors.

Flat Rate Plan

Startups and small businesses that process less than $7,000 per month will benefit from Payarc’s Flat Rate plan. Flat Rate plans charge 2.49% + 30¢ (in-person) or 2.9% + 30¢ (online) per transaction, regardless of interchange rates.

Cash Discount

Also, Payarc offers Cash Discount plans, which allow you to give cash-paying customers a percentage off their purchases. Three plans are available:

  • Cash discount of 4%: No monthly fee
  • Cash discount of 3.5%: $99/month
  • Cash discount of 3.25%: $199/month

Your cash discount will effectively allow you to pass on your processing costs to your card-paying customers if you incorporate them into your base prices. It is also important to note that cash discount programs are only legal in certain states.

Payarc further allows you to factor in promotions, discounts, and free trial windows into your business’s billing system.

PCI Compliance and Security

Security is one of Payarc’s greatest selling points. This solution uses issuing bank information to detect a customer’s location and IP address. Consequently, business owners can actively block transactions from specific countries using the detected IP address. You can also limit the number and volume of transactions from a given customer or IP address. Finally, this service also uses tokens, CVV, and encryption to protect customer card details from theft.

These third-party applications include Paay, WooCommerce, Rectangle Health, Magento, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Verifi. In addition, RS2, Ethoca, Fortellis, and Spreedly are some other applications users can use seamlessly with Payarc. Payarc also has a highly-secured API and SDK hub for developers. In addition, the API is free and can be utilized by business owners to streamline the payment processor to meet their unique business needs.

Ease of Use

Payarc is a web-based payment solution that can be accessed with the right device and internet access. To sign up to use Payarc, you will need to reach out to Payarc support, book a call, or fill out the solution’s web form. Afterward, a customer support agent will contact you to provide you with a quote and help you set up your merchant account.

Payarc has a relatively intuitive dashboard and navigation. Upon signing up, you can easily perform operations like creating and sending invoices right from the dashboard. In addition, you can customize the dashboard and other operations to meet your unique business needs. As you transact on this platform, you can easily access each transaction to effect necessary changes. And the fact that you can block and restrict specific transactions from specific locations makes this solution intuitive and user-friendly.

Final Word

If you are looking for a highly secured PCI-compliant payment solution for your business, then you may want to try Payarc. This solution may not have the robust merchant service features found in many other payment processing platforms. But you will never have to worry about the safety of your funds and customers’ financial details on Payarc.

This provider caters to the payment processing needs of virtually all kinds of businesses. Its recurring billing tools make it an ideal solution for utility providers and subscription-based service providers. This feature also makes Payarc a tiny bit different from a handful of other small business merchant service providers.

However, Payarc services are provided in plans (in-person, online, and billing and invoicing) that are based on a business’s preferred payment receipt method. Now, if each plan is priced separately, you’ll get to pay more if your business uses all three payment methods to accept customer payment.

So far, there hasn’t been a disturbing number of negative feedback on the functions of this solution. But there also hasn’t been a distinguishable number of positive reviews either.

Furthermore, there is basically no information about the cost of using this payment processing platform. Nothing on the plans. Nothing on the cost of purchasing and using their hardware. Very little information on the features of the solution. You will have to reach out to their customer support center to get all the information you may need before deciding on this software. You can also request a demo to know if Payarc is a good fit for your business or not.
